Survived By Wife - Alan King (Hilarious)

Alan King delivers his funny monologue about how men die younger than women and offers up the phrase from obituaries “Survived By Wife” as proof. Alan died in 2004 at the age of 76 and he was survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanette. It appears he was correct after all as he was “Survived By Wife”.

It would appear that we boys are toast....

The father of my boyfriend at the time managed a hotel in North Miami Beach. We would go to the shows there. Alan King was the feature star one night. He invited us to dinner in North Bay Village, and of course, we went. I did not like him from the get-go. He called all the waitresses "Sweetheart" and when he snapped his fingers, he demanded immediate service.
