Sierra Mist - the IED in my 'fridge ...

This afternoon I noticed two cans of Sierra Mist in my fridge. The expiration date was a couple of months ago, so I decided to pour the soda into the sink. (The last can I drank - a month or so ago - seemed a bit "off".) So-oo... I set the cans in the sink (ice cold, mind you) and proceeded to open one, and it sprayed all over the place !!! So I opened the second can v-e-r-y slowly ( as I held it in the sink) and it was even worse ! Obviously as Sierra Mist ages, it gets even fizzier ! Who knew ? What a mess ! Please pass the paper towels...

I wonder what the bacteria content inside the expired cans was up to. [img][/img]

I had that happen to a new gallon jug of simple syrup in an ice cream shoppe.
