And not surprised it was you. The best Beatles collection of songs has gotta be from the Brit releases of Rubber Soul and Revolver, and In my Life is sublime perfection.

I also can't stop from crying when I hear Across the Universe, since that was the first song they played on BBC after they announced John had been killed. I like to think of him with limitless undying love which shines across him like and million suns, and pulls him on and on...

Hey,
I like the trippy ones, and this is one of my favorites out of those along with Glass Onion, the production with George Martin was impressive.

Although they were from my parent's generation, one of my early memories includes playing this song on one of those kid's record players and listening to it with my younger brother. Thought it was great then and still do

In fact ... I have quite a few .... I was an active Beatles fan back in the day ...

It's hard to pick a favorite, but this one stands out as a complete innovation that changed how I thought about rock music, forever ...

Just an amazing lyrical excursion into artistic whimsy ... The string melodies twirling around the chord stabs always fascinated me, and the ever rising/falling chord patterns in the coda just blew me away ...

At age 12, as a budding guitarist, I just fell in love with this album!

I remember when this hit the radio .... There was absolutely nothing that compared .... Sgt Pepper's was the invention of psychedelic pop ... I was mesmerized ....

From the movie, Yellow Submarine:

and realized; This isn't done ...

From the movie 'Help!'

I love the editing for this: George has a wry countenance ... Somewhere around 1:48; the girl jumps when George leans over belts out "HEY!" .... F'in love it ... One of their best 'music video' style pieces ..
