Anyone see this tonight? Using pantyhose to use every scrap of soap is one thing but reusable toilet paper?
One of the cheapskates talks about his experience:

I wonder how much of this is "penny wise and pound foolish" though.
And feeding little kids the greens from the field? A field that clearly has dog poop in it? Not cool.

(27,677 posts)Then there was the guy who separated his double ply toilet paper to make it last longer. Umm, OK. How much do you really save when you factor in bleach and detergent to clean the things.
The guy that cuts open the "empty" tube toothpaste to get another week's use. I see nothing wrong with that. You can't really ever get every last bit out.
The goat's head didn't really bother me (meat is meat to a point) except when he started rooting around in the brain cavity. Doesn't he know about prions? And some of those proteins aren't necessarily broken down by cooking.
Nothing wrong with wild greens. It's good to at least know what they look like. Got to wash them though. Don't know about using the dog park except that that's probably where they grown the best. I go down to the river in late spring and pick wild asparagus all the time.

(5,364 posts)People who work ( at their own jobs ) only as much as it takes not to get canned, yet demand top-dollar and will count every nickel -- BUT -- When they hire someone ( a contractor to work on their home, mechanic to fix their vehicle, landscaper, whatever ) they demand absolute perfection, for absolute rockiest of rock-bottom dollar.....and yet....can NOT see the irony. What's up wit 'dat?
