I don't know (nor care) what team he's on, nor do I really care to see his name coming up so very often around here...

I say we substitute his name from now on with "P.D.Q. Bach" and talk about him instead

That throw is going to lead a nasty injury. I just cringe, remembering Joe Theisman, but thinking about it happening to an arm.

Yuck.

That's all for attention, best I can tell. I'm not even sure what sport he plays in, but that looks like it might be a football field. God wants him to win like God wanted Sarah Palin to win - wait, what?

I just feel sorry for him because the 49ers will win the Superbowl (I can dream). Seriously, I think he's a nice guy and humanitarian, even if he endorses a Republican. I just hope he doesn't become a gay-basher somewhere down the line

I agree with what Jesus told Tebow in the SNL locker room before Jesus left to bless a beauty pageant: Bring it down a notch. Jesus knows Tebow is all about showmanship, & so do I, which is why he's a complete turn-off to me.

sorry alerter, your other one got locked but this one seems pretty much still within lounge boundaries (not that it is a topic I give a shit about - but since even I know who this clown is so he must be a fairly well known and talked about celebrity and the discussion is pretty loungy in the thread I don't see any reason to lock it)

Tebow for who he is or the contingent beliefs with his creed. I disagree with some of his beliefs, there's a difference between that and dislike. As for his displays of religion, I wonder how people feel about baseball players who make the Sign of the Cross before entering the batters box. I would probably have a more favorable view of Tebow were he to endorse Obama. I think he'll stay out of politics from now on after the Focus on the Family debacle.

He's not a very good qb. As far as his kneeling down, that doesn't bother me much either. There are plenty of other athletes that do the prayer thing.

The only way I'd change my opinion of him would be if he became a Bears QB. And then, I would "tolerate" him.
