Thunderbolt Phone...I got one for christmas and it is taking a long time to learn all the functions

Hubby thought I needed to join modern phone society so he got me a Thunderbolt.

It is really cool but there is a lot to learn about it.

Anyone else have one? Do you like it?

The battery doesn't last long enough. I got the extended battery and now it's staying charged all day.
I love the camera and all the available apps.

But Yes! It did take me a long time to get used to it.
I used to have a flip phone and I had it for about 7 years,(LOVED IT) but then my grandson gave it immersion therapy and the antenna got fried. My niece was a Verizon manager and she recommended the Thunderbolt because it had 4G... but I am still waiting for the towers to be built! If there is no 4G tower, then you have to get 3G or lower... If I go into DC then it works great. I love the wifi feature!

Good luck with yours!

my last phone was a Mint "Chocolate" and was very easy to use.

I love that I can surf the net anywhere and all the cool features I am sure will be neat when I learn it all, but wow there is soooo much to learn.

I didn't know there was an extended battery. I will have to check it out.

That's my basic requirement of a cell phone. I am also partial to flip phones so I won't butt dial. The lock/unlock thing is a pain in the ass (no connection intended).

dialing people, changing things in my phonebook... it's just wonderful.
I can turn it off and it still does it. It pocket dials numbers even when I have protected the buttons beiong pushed
by putting three blank screensaver screens between my active screen AND trned it off!

Well worth it because my brother tends to send novellas instead of concise answers.
