Does anyone remember the old joke about W trying to solve a riddle, and asking Tony Blair and Dick Cheney for the answer? Cheney gets the answer from Colin Powell. Something along the lines of, "Your mother had a baby. It's not your brother or your sister. Who is it?" Can anyone remember the punchline? I know W screws it up somehow.
Please help; this is driving me crazy for some reason!

At least that is the best I can recall
That seems familiar.

(36,827 posts)Bush meets with the Queen of England and asks her how she knows if government leaders are intelligent. The queen responds, "That's easy, I just give them a riddle."
The queen calls Tony Blair over and says, "Your mother gives birth to a child and it's not your brother or sister. Who is it?"
Tony Blair replies, "It's me!"
Bush returns to Washington and calls Dick Cheney into the oval office and asks, "Your mother gives birth to a child and it's not your brother or sister. Who is it?"
Cheney says, "I'll have to get back to you on that one."
Cheney asks everyone he can find and nobody seems to know the answer. Finally he catches Colin Powell in the men's room and asks, ""Your mother gives birth to a child and it's not your brother or sister. Who is it?"
Colin Powell: "That's easy. It's me."
Cheney gleefully returns to the oval office and exclaims, "I have the answer! It's Colin Powell!"
Bush: "No you fucking idiot. It's Tony Blair."
