OK, I just broke the damn toilet seat!

Heard a big cracking sound ... now the damn thing is broken in two pieces! I'm 6'1", about 200 pounds. Good lordy that just scared the crap outta me (I guess that's a good thing) ...

So it's gonna be that kind of day!

When it's still 1 piece with a crack in one side, that sucker can PINCH!!! I speak from experience

I think the toilet seats break because they have only 4 plastic 'feet' to rest on the bowl edge. I've found if you can find a seat with 5 or 6, that it holds up better. Also, the oak ones hold up well, but you may not like the look.
