No. No difference at all other than price. Brand names mean advertising. talkingmime Mar 2013 #6

I personally use a Panasonic Linear electric shaver. I can't shave every day lest I break out. And usually those multi blade jobs clog so quick on me, for those times I have to use a manual it's a Bic Sensitive single blade.

Good luck!!!

I don't use them, but my wife loves them. And the cheapest razors have as good a blade as the most expensive ones. The difference is that they don't spend money on advertising. Nothing else.

5 in a pack for $1. There was a time when I couldn't use disposables because when I was through shaving I looked like I had been attacked by a knife wielding serial killer trying to slit my throat. Once when I was on vacation I forgot to pack my razor and went to the local Dollar Tree and bought some disposables. Those things work like a charm! Nice sharp blade and I can get about 3 or 4 uses out of each one before I have to throw it away. I've used them ever since.

Maybe it's my skin or technique and not the blades, but I either break out, get carved up like a Christmas goose, or both when I use the disposables.

Seriously. If you buy brand names you're only paying extra for the advertising costs. And more than two blades is silly. I get the two blade thing, but FIVE? What the hell is up with that? It just means more money. The blades cost about 1/4 cent each, if that. It's a gimmick.

Great price for sure, but just couldn't get as close a shave as with regular blades. Also I thought the razor itself was kind of large, difficult to get into the nooks and crannies of my old face. I used the same ones you got, the $6 version. IMHO, I can get a years worth of my regular razors at Costco for about $37. So i cancelled. That in and of itself was difficult. When i cancelled 6 weeks ago, they either had bugs in their webpage or purposely buried the cancel function. Ended up emailing them and 1 week later they responded and cancelled. I'm very leery of these automatic renewal credit card arrangements and read their info about how ez it would be to cancel. Their hype didn't meet the reality.
