CaliforniaPeggy
(149,611 posts)5. It's pinned to make sure everyone reads it. That's all.

(2,173 posts)6. Well, yeah, but why is it an issue?
CaliforniaPeggy
(149,611 posts)8. It's an issue because often the rules are broken.
Or people are unaware of them.
Pinning the topic makes sure people see it and then they will know what's allowed and what isn't.
That's why!

(51,122 posts)3. My theory is that he posts as the many, many sockpuppet trolls around here.
That could be easily wiped out with a little coding to identify duplicate IP addresses.
Kidding.
Well, not about the many, many sockpuppet trolls or the coding. They live and it's possible.

It isn't always that simple.
One of our better known trolls moves around from coffee shop to coffee shop. Always has a different IP address.
And so on.
*MIRT=malicious intruder removal team. They ban new members who are trolls or disruptors.
