Dammit, just warm up. Most courses still have their greens covered.

(3,065 posts)I remember snow storms in April and a freaky snow storm in late August when I was stationed at Fort Carson (Colorado Springs). Loved it there. Wish I'd never left.

(46,179 posts)It stayed unseasonably warm until the 3rd week in December; we got one good snow that hung around for a month, and then it's been "Indian spring" off and on since. The annual weeds sprouted in February. Weed season has a big head start.
It's not really that warm, just not as cold as usual, and there have been pockets of May/June-like warmth.

(14,061 posts)I have just about had it with this winter. I feel like I'm in the movie "Groundhog Day." Every day feels the same, like it's still mid-January.
This is VERY hard psychologically.

(4,475 posts)Feels like we've been stuck at January 15th for two and a half months. I seriously don't know how much more of this I can take. I feel psychologically trapped by the cold wet grayness.

(59,305 posts)back in January. Weird winter, above average temps almost all winter long, heck even snakes were out, in January!
Now, a week before Spring starts, its been rather cold(40/20's).

(14,691 posts)to say it 's "the year without spring?" It's only a week old. In the Northeast, it's not entirely impossible for it to snow in APRIL.

(21,925 posts)It's only rained about 50% of normal during what is usually the rainy season, and normal ain't usually that great. It's very troubling to me.
