(28,791 posts)Where am I supposed to put it when I chew?
I think I will, the uppers I got 20years ago were easy enough. They say the bottoms are more squirrely tho.

(28,791 posts)I've been waiting for this day for YEARS!
I went thru all kinds of pain as they would go bad one by one.. now I just have to learn how to talk around them

(112,424 posts)I had oral surgery to remove my remaining four top teeth in June of last year. I had the lower eleven teeth removed in the middle of November. You should expect the stitches to stay in about two weeks and hopefully the scabs will peel off your gumline in about eight weeks.
I hope that you had some implants placed in the lower jaw. Dentures on the lower jaw are more prone to slipping.
I survived on cream of wheat, baked potatos and the Betty Crocker Bon-Appetit bowls during that time. You might also want to stock up on tabouli and coucous if that turns you on.
You have my sympathies since I know what you've been through.

(28,791 posts)Had my uppers done 20 years ago, first they pulled the molars, then when those had healed, pulled the incisors and put in the plate.
I lost the bottom ones one at a time over the last 10 years, just barely scraping together enough for extractions. So today was easy, one last canine, already loose.
I couldn't afford the implants, but these will do fine until I can get that done.
I should be able to eat without pain in just a few days

(72,300 posts)If we are talking teeth: 2 or 3 shades off bright white is better,
"50 shades of gray." is way too vanilla for moi.

(72,300 posts)That was my choice also. I have fair skin and seldom wear lipstick.
It was the right thing for my face.

(28,791 posts)It felt so good!
I asked for mine to be a little 'uneven' I never had perfect teeth, and I didn't want them to look like dentures. She was trained in Europe and did a lot of tweaking to make them look natural.
