The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI'm guessing that an important actor is going to be killed off in the Walking Dead season finale.
This guy has mapped out the usual suspects:
'The Walking Dead': Who will survive the season finale?
...anything can happen in a show that kills off its leading lady. Rick (Andrew Lincoln), the show's hero, is having visions. The villainous Governor (David Morrissey) isn't thinking straight, which portends bad things for him in the season finale. There are real drawbacks to trying to be a leader in this disaster.
Love in a zombie apocalypse isn't a hopeful sign, so I'm worried about Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).
Love can't be good, either, for Carol (Melissa McBride), who longs for the heroic Daryl.
Being wise isn't an advantage in this disaster, and Hershel (Scott Wilson) has been a figure of deep wisdom. I fear he won't be with us much longer. I hope I'm wrong.

(17,742 posts)Based solely on my imagination.
The final scene should be of Milton, after being made a walker/biter, hears that sound that he was using to precondition his subjects in his experiment, and we get a tight close-up of his eyes, and we see a spark of recognition...
That's how *I* would end it anyway.

(46,776 posts)Though many of the current zombie movies are taking that direction.

(53,410 posts)Let's see, what would leave us with our jaws hanging and make the waiting for the next season more unbearable than ever?
The Zombies suddenly change in some way. Say they start using some form of rudimentary strategy, like stand on each others' shoulders to climb the fences, or pick up a rock and bash someone's head in or take a weapon away from one of the General's dead soldiers and use it.
Maybe the Governor was bitten when Andrea let the zombies go after him and he's hiding it and becomes the leader of the zombies when he dies.
Or someone gets bitten on a limb and they hack that limb off.
Or maybe they'll go so far as to have someone, the one person who turns out to be immune to the zombie bites get bitten and they realize they have the antidote to the zombie bites and that they may have the vaccine against the living being infected!

(56,829 posts)which is what Team Prison calls the zombie-infested tunnels under the prison. So, I'm guessing Rick's crew will have to escape through there, or else they're going to turn Woodbury into a tomb.

(53,410 posts)Or they open The Tombs when the Governor's people have just broken in to the prison and Rick's group makes an escape leaving the Governor group fighting for their lives.
I seriously think they won't do the predictable because they always anticipate that and end up blowing us away.
