Freeper in-law comments: Easter edition

I love it when people make a snarky comment and immediately walk off, ending the conversation on what they believe is a victorious note.

I mentioned The Walking Dead to my freeper in-law today, He said he hadn't seen it, and only knew it by the memes he'd seen online. He said his favorite was one that said "Everybody makes fun of the redneck until the zombie apocalypse." Then he said "Ain't that the truth!" and walked away.

Truth? Did I miss the newscasts of some zombie apocalypse in which rednecks rose to save the day? When did this happen? When did this become truth?
