She's 15, which I guess is old-agey for cats. But her ears are now pink and translucent. Never noticed it on our other kitties.
Love her to pieces, bald or not.

(10,419 posts)She's a grey and white tabby - little miss average stray who appeared at our patio door in 1998 and never left (as if we'd let her).
We had a white cat, and I understand they're very sensitive to sun and develop carcinomas on their ears.
Peewee's ears are grey, and I will always think of her the way she showed up at our house at age 3 months.
We're getting old together!

(1,353 posts)It was allergies. I think the vet gave him a shot of steroids, and some cream to rub on them. We found out he was allergic to wool, so we got rid of all the wool blankets that the cats laid on. One, or all of those things seemed to do the trick!
