The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsFrom the time I was a young man, and continuing throughout my life, I've been attracted to older
women. I thought they knew something I didn't but wanted to. Now that my age equals my desire, I'm convinced they know something I don't, and they're still not telling!

(66,328 posts)I've been attracted to older women since I was old enough to realize that men and women are different. In school, I was always crushing on my teachers instead of female classmates. I think women are at their sexiest between about 35 and 65. (Helen Mirren, for example. *swoon*)
Older women just have a certain je ne sais quoi, which is French for "I have lots of quoi."

(2,560 posts)she was about 30...I was 15. It was my dream but nothing more than that.
But my GFs were 7, 7 and 11 tears older than me.
But I eventually married a woman 2 years younger than me. Aussies call that cradle snatching.

My wife has taken to referring to her simply as "your girrrrrrlfriend" and she says it quite sneeringly! I don't believe she shares my passion for the Mirren.

(56,828 posts)When I was out dating, I mostly dated younger women. Heck, I was 33 when my ex-wife filed for divorce from me, and I was soon making up for lost time for all those attractive 18-22 year old college women that told me I was too nice a guy to date when I was in college. I remember having to check myself a few times and say we couldn't go to a bar because my date couldn't get into the place... of course, I also dated plenty of women closer to my own age, too. But, only once do I remember actually dating a woman older than me (she was 38, after initially telling me she was 31.)
Oh, and my ex-wife was 24 when she filed for divorce from me.
However, I found that most women had something they knew that I wanted to know, be they younger, same age or older.
When I got remarried a few years later, my wife was "only" 3 1/2 years younger than me.
