Has anyone gotten shots for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome here?

While I was dealing with a brain aneurysm, my carpal tunnel got a bit out of control. My middle fingers on my left hand are numb and on fire. I've been stretching, icing, and bracing, to no avail.

I'm seeing a good hand ortho specialist, and have to get a nerve test, etc.

I'm just hoping to hear experiences here. I hope I can go without surgery. Maybe shots will help.

Have any of you fine folks gotten relief with shots?

1. I have had a few shots

for different orthopedic conditions, but not CT. Shots kick in after about one week and last about a year. Shot in my hand has worn off; got to see the doctor again.

This condition has been somewhat transient. Most times, I'll start to feel it, and after a week or two, it will just go away. This is the first symptoms have lasted four months, and my fingers have felt so numb. I really hope something will help.
