not kidding, her doctor told her to lay off the carrots. Was eating them for diet snack purposes, but to many, oh my gosh, orange palms.

one of the health care aides needed it for the dinner she was making for my parents. I'm so embarrassed. How will I ever apologize for that.

I balance it off with wheat grass and kale juice mixed with bath tub gin.......
Just kidding we make our own healthy trail mix .

Even the "Light Swiss" stuff is satisfyingly creamy, like brie or butter or something. 30 calories for a wedge. Plus I get a little protein.

i just snack on them as is. dried fruit and nuts are more common snacks here. we also eat a lot of popcorn.

I always have a bag of raw almonds in the house. I once bought a bag of roasted almonds with sea salt, they were gone in two days. God were they good.

Raw ones are good too though. I also make kale chips or if if I'm lazy I just have raw kale(or some other veggie) dipped in ranch.

the kids got me a chocolate ice cream cake for Mother's Day, and I can't resist!

And I usually have a piece of fruit and a glass of milk in the evening.
