...
The 25-year-old learned Casey had finished her military service and had been sent to the Iowa State Fire Marshal's Office, where she was used to detect explosives.
Gundlach wrote to State Fire Marshal Director Ray Reynolds, explaining the connection he felt with the dog. He even has a tattoo on his right forearm depicting Casey with angel wings and a halo, sitting at the foot of a Marine.
"He's been putting a case together for the last two months, sending me pictures ... it just tugged on your heart," Reynolds said.
Reynolds decided to arrange a surprise. ... There, hundreds of law enforcement officers, military personnel and civilians were seated, keeping the secret

(862 posts)I have not deduced the link stuff. The link is to make the photo appear but it always leaves stuff visible as well.

(10,907 posts)My link in the OP looked like this originally (except replace the httq with http at both the beginning of the green and the beginning of the red)
httq://l2.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/xoDd3.3lcRbOz3eqbSuw_Q--/YXBwaWQ9eW5ld3M7Y2g9MzE3OTtjcj0xO2N3PTI0MTY7ZHg9MDtkeT0wO2ZpPXVsY3JvcDtoPTI1MTtxPTg1O3c9MTkw/
httq://media.zenfs.com/en_us/News/ap_webfeeds/961133128d362210320f6a70670042a2.jpg
Notice how it is in 2 parts. When I used the above link, (again using http instead of httq in both places) it looked like yours -- the green part showed, than the photo.
I got rid of the green part, leaving only the red part, and then it showed the photo without any linky stuff showing.
I often see "double URLs" like this where one part forwards to the other part.
Oh, I also didn't have the "{link:" thing in front (but with a square bracket instead of a brace), I almost never do -- I think that's only for if you want to have your hyperlink show up as underlined blue text of your choosing, e.g. something that looks like this: click here to go to Democratic Underground
