The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsA new restaurant opened near me. The prior business in that spot was an adult bookstore with peep
show booths.
I'm sure that they've cleaned the space thoroughly prior to opening, but could you eat in such a place knowing what went on there prior to this restaurant opening?

(7,515 posts)My former in-laws sold a business in the mid 70s to a man who lied and said he was opening a coffee shop. He opened an adult bookstore, complete with peep show booths. Eventually the town got him out of there and a coffee shop/bakery did open. The pastries and New York Hard Rolls were wonderful!
By the time all the renovations are complete, I can assure you there are no vestiges of past occupants.
