5. Another thing we have in common. Andy was/is pure genius.

And I have had some outstanding arguments with people when I purport that. And I'm a Southerner! I wanted him dead for insulting my people at the exact time I was in awe of his ability to manipulate my feelings like that. Brilliant, brilliant performance artist.

4. I actually worked with his girlfriend -

Lynne Margulies for a year before I knew her connection to Kaufman. I was watching a documentary on him and she popped up -- to say I was surprised is an understatement. Sadly, Andy's dead. For real.

This was when Taxi was in production down the street .
Later I heard that he did sneak away and do this because it grounded him , that sounds like something he would do .

His Mighty Mouse theme is without a doubt the single greatest comedy bit of all time
(well, maybe not that good).

He was never forgotten, which means he worked.
