and dogs will really cause skunks to stink up the place

I have dogs (and chickens) so we are destinking on a regular basis.

cats don't seem to bother them one way or the other but dogs are big old dumbasses about skunks and skunks seem to hate them equally so they don't give much warning before firing.


a couple years ago I had them coming in my kitchen for cat food

The skunks are out back with the chickens often; neither species gives much of a shit about the other. Weird, I know. Things ain't right at Brokeass Mountain Farms
