Hard to believe its been (just over) a year since Eduard khil's passing. (September 4th 1934 – June 4th 2012)
There is an upside to Mr. khil's internet-meme inspired fame though, because now on you-tube there are many of his songs. He had a great voice. Although we can giggle about the corny soviet era culture.... what was Lawrence Welk doing at the same time?
