2. I remembered my public policy economics course that proved public health care was

both more equitable and more efficient (cheaper) than private health care. I was in Canada when I went to university twenty years before. We had liberal professors for the most part. Everyone on the DU started to talk about how public health care was cheaper after that on the DU and in the MSM in the months to come.

Other than that there was Katrina. I was watching CNN. Me and a few others, once we realized Katrina was being used by the Bush WH to teach a lack of compassion in Americans, we started yelling in huge block letters: "Assholes". This was midnight. More and more DUers started posting in huge letters. By the time morning arrived the whole country, which had separately been thinking the same thing, started raging at the Bush WH and help was soon sent to NOLA.

This is the interconnected web. Who knows if any of us are the wing of the butterfly flapping and causing the butterfly effect. But if we all keep fighting together we are bound to change the country for the better.

Driving Miss Honeychurch and billysank around to meet DUers on the way to visit with AirmensMom and harleydad was great. Tuesday Afternoon joined us on two of those visits.
