(30,947 posts)you could imagine except for the final procedure of complete upper and lower dentures, and that is in my very near future. Fortunately, I have not had an overactive bladder and I take care of the insominia with over-the-counter sleeping pills. I am just happy to have made it to this age though I never thought I would with no major health problems.

(28,394 posts)It started out as a boken filling and three months and a root canal later it now has a crown. All of it was painful and it still bothers me.

(31,412 posts)seven years ago. It had become infected. Turns out it was split--which didn't even
show up on x-ray. Glad we decided to yank it rather than try to fix it only to have
to end up yanking it.
I'm going to have an implant to replace it. Not looking forward to that! Takes
several more visits--many $$$--over next 6 months with finally a crown put
on by regular dentist.
Feel better.
