If so, the minimum hourly wage in Arizona in August of 2013 is $7.80 an hour, not $7.35 an hour. Just some DU info for you. I am extremely happy for you, but my DU gut just says I needed to check things out.

Arizona employers may not pay you under $7.80 per hour unless you or your occupation are specifically exempt from the minimum wage under state or federal law.

All Arizona employers must display an approved Arizona minimum wage poster in a prominent place to inform employees about the minimum wage and their worker's rights under Arizona labor law.
