Currently “Adam” works from dawn until darkness, either chained to a tree or working, pulling roots or dragging logs. But elephants at the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary live completely different lives, leaving free in the jungle as elephants should. Help free Adam and other elephants like him. Let them sleep where they choose; get up when they choose; and eat when they want, grazing on the lush native jungle grasses, flowers and seasonal fruits.

The Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary was developed in partnership with the government of the Kingdom of Cambodia. This million acre sanctuary strives to protect native species and their habitats while employing local Cambodian villagers and improving their economy. Building proper fencing in areas of the sanctuary will ensure that the elephants and the people living nearby peacefully can coexist.

This is the original soundtrack recording of Bless the Beasts and Children (1971). Karen was 21 years old. The song was nominated for an Academy Award but lost to Isaac Hayes' "Theme from 'Shaft' ."
