What speeches have you given in your life? I'm no public speaker but I gave a speech

in toastmasters that compared summer cottage life to what makes a great civilization. It went over well. I described proof of literate people as the paperbacks stuffed into the walls instead of insulation, great wars took place in the sand pile, communication by water, talk of existance and gods took place every clear night under the stars. As per usual it was a good concept - I'm a concept girl. None of my other speeches in class or elsewhere has gone well. I'm just not a great communicator.
