Robbed bride gets wedding dress from 911 operator

Bride-to-be Amanda never expected that something borrowed would save her wedding day.

As she was packing up her car for her special day when someone stole her $6,000 hand-me-down wedding dress straight from her trunk in Kent, Wash. Amanda, who didn't want to give her last name to the media, called 911 in distress.

The 911 operator who answered, 28-year-old Candice, had recently been married and happened to have a white-lace cap-sleeve gown that fit 23-year-old Amanda perfectly.

Feeling sorry for the forlorn bride, Candice, who also didn't want her last name used, acted quickly to help Amanda beyond the usual call of duty in her line of work.

What are the odds, though, of such a match? The bride who needs a dress, and the 911 operator actually having one????

This is why I still love humanity. People can absolutely rock sometimes.
