"Jolene" slowed down.

This is a 45 rpm record by Dolly Parton, slowed down to 33, and Dolly still sounds good.

Dolly has a very pure voice (good waveforms)and she enunciates!!!
I can't handle country music at all because they are nasal, and scoop and commit pedal steel guitar abuse.

Dolly does not do that. I can handle her and Willie Nelson. They don't need Autotune. Autotune is evil, IMNSHMO.

Dolly's original:

They're both good!!!

You're right on all counts too. While I don't care for Country music in general, I certainly appreciate talent, And Dolly is one of the best.

Patricia Highsmith went to my high school. She lived most of her later life in Paris, and when we visited, we all left jars of peanut butter on her doorstep because that was one thing she missed from the US.

I knew about her love for Levis jeans, but had no idea about the peanut butter. Thanks for the information.

Almost as bad as Led Zep.
I didn't like Led Zep in 1969 and still don't like them.

I also go back and forth on the Sisters; sometimes I think they are wonderfully ridiculous, and other times just ridiculous.

That guy has a sore throat.

Russian basso profundo chorus - We Bow Before Your Cross.

I gave up on rock 'n' roll in 1983 when The Police broke up. I saw them on the Synchronicity tour, summer of '83. After that I said "There are not any more really good rock bands anymore." I haven't heard any since then that interested me. So get off my lawn!!!

from her very first appearance of the Porter Wagoner Show. I was glad they replaced Kitty Wells (if memory serves me right). I could tolerate the show with her on it.

My favorite DP song is Coat of Many Colors. Her voice is so pure. And she is a fine human being to boot. Advocating reading for children, she has given away hundreds and thousand of books to young children in Tennessee.
