hitting the road again

had a wonderful time with my mommy, staying with my bestie in nebraska tonight and then back home to colorado on tomorrow.

still wondering how pissed the cats are going to be when we get home.

i'm expecting more traffic today with the holiday, but we should be ok. and it'll be nice to have the long drive broken up into two legs, 13 hours in the car is getting to be a bit much for me.

4. 12-13 hours on the road all told

eightish hours today and the rest tomorrow. we did it in one hump coming out, 14 hours all told with gas and food stops.

i'm hoping the roads aren't too hairy with the holiday, but we'll be fine.
