1- Revo Uninstaller, free version, awesome program, dl link here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

2- Ccleaner, comes with very safe registry cleaner too: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

3- Go to Windows File Explorer (or click the My Computer icon and click C: drive), go to C: drive and search
in the upper right hand corner for whatever program or file you need to eliminate. Make sure you search the
entire C: drive ( I keep saying C:, because that's the default drive name). Be very very careful what you delete.
You can massively f***k up your computer if you're not careful.

4- Last resort (use with caution), Registry First Aid: http://www.rosecitysoftware.com/reg1aid/
Make sure to run it for Safe items or, at the very most, Caution.

When I do all those things, "I always find my man" (said with geek swagger lol )

Good luck ! Thorough drive cleansing and thorough registry cleaning always do it for me, along with mucking about the internals of my browser.
