We met for coffee and THE FIRST question out of her mouth was to ask if I had any land or a 401k.

No shit. I admired her facelift and walked her back to her car.

after his divorce, he dated a young lady for several months from a craig's list ad. She was pretty cool - I liked her but they went their separate ways.

She wasn't crazy or clingy or anything - they just didn't have much in common after initial attraction so they both moved on.

He's married now to a girl he met in a bar.

To be fair, it was really more of a darts thing - he and his friends went to play darts several times a week and she and her friends were there too so they knew each other for quite some time before they started dating officially and dated for a good long while before getting married.

We met at a popular chain of coffee shops that it turned out we both hated.

Our next date we went to a sports/countryish bar. A double hit for things we both don't like.

Third date was better, we watched a movie that we both agreed sucked.

Skipping ahead to the 6th date, we went to another country together, and got robbed.

Now we are married.
