(1,569 posts)Back then me and my friends would have killed to see the B-52s or DEVO in a dance club. There were others that we liked as much or better for a concert, but no one that would have filled a small space with as much energy.

(19,372 posts)Been around for years, goes back to the early SF Bay Area music scene with people like Steve Miller and Jerry Garcia.
Here's a great live version of another fun tune you might like.

(4,056 posts)Clapton, Beck and Jimmy Page. I loved them when I was a kid, they had kind of a minor key mournful sound, thanks to Graham Gouldman's song writing.
The lead singer died by electrocution from his amp. Weird.

(53,339 posts)Only two originals--McCarty and Dreja-- but the show was GREAT!
I think Beck was living in the area, but he didn't drop by.

(43,181 posts)The consummate Pumpkins song. Pretty much defines their style. Love the soft outro.

(28,762 posts)You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
So fuck you
All I want to do
Is have a good time
Now I'm blue
You wanna boogaloo
Run down to Tramps
Have a dance or two--ooh!
You're breaking my heart
You're tearin' it apart
But fuck you
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
Ooh!--ooh!--
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net ]
You stepped on my ass
You're breaking my glasses too
You wanna drive my car
Buy a lot of stuff
I've had enough
Of you--ooh!
I'm goin' insane
There's no one to blame
So fuck you
You've gotta have your way
There's nothin' left to say
There's nothin' left to do--ooh!
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
So fuck you
You've gotta have your way
There's nothin' left to say
There's nothin' left to do--ooh!
You're breakin' my heart
You're tearin' it apart
But I love you
