Usually, typing it out and then deleting it is enough to get the thought off my chest and move on...

That is the reason there are very few OP's that I have done, most people (but certainly not all) think I am OK to nice. Mostly it is probably the only reason I am still here. I flash hot, write it down and then all but one time I discard it and relax or at least cool it down a notch.

Apparently my outrageous that I do post is not so outrageous

threads I've ever started were in a couple of the groups...never out in the forums.

Because the groups are a safer place than the forums.

At least, IMO.

Having said that, though, there have been many times when I've typed out a reply in an existing thread and didn't post it for a couple of reasons...

1. I got interrupted in the middle of it and then when I got back to it, realized I didn't really care all that much about the topic anymore.

2. Typed out a reply that I figured would annoy others because I wasn't going along with the "herd-think", and wasn't in the mood to get verbally abused by people who can't stand it that not everybody agrees with them. Or maybe they don't quite understand the point I was trying to make and they didn't give a shit about looking deeper than their need to assume they know who someone is based on their own interpretations of that person's words. So I deleted and then went on with my day knowing that what I say or don't say here probably doesn't matter a rat's ass in the long run.

I start thinking.."You know, I'm angry, and if I post that, it might just get hidden, so forget it."
