Better Call Saul, a prequel spinoff of Breaking Bad, is moving forward at AMC.
On Wednesday, the network and Sony Pictures Television confirmed that theyve reached a licensing agreement to do a new show featuring Saul Goodman, the sleazy and resourceful lawyer portrayed by Bob Odenkirk on the critically adored drama series, which will end its run later this month.
Better Call Saul would be an hour-long drama, lighter in tone than Breaking Bad, and focusing on Goodmans evolution before he became the attorney for meth mastermind Walter White.
Goodman joined the Breaking Bad universe in its second season and has stuck around as a fan favorite.

(17,742 posts)(kidding) No, since it's about his pre-BB existence, he could still end up dead by the end of this season.
At first I thought this must be The Onion.

(29,322 posts)In the episode "Better Call Saul", when Walt & Jessie had him in front of a hole out in the desert he was screaming "Oh, no, no, no! No, it wasn't me. It was Ignacio. He's the one."
"Lalo didn't send you? No Lalo?"
"Who?"
"Oh, thank God! Oh, Christ!"

(60,010 posts)and I admit I am hooked.
The show is carefully crafted, even down to the change of clothe's color hues over the season.
Very intense, sometimes funny moments.
Best way to catch up is to rent the first season from Netflix or something and just sit thru the first 3 episodes, see what happens.
