Julianne Moore Cast As President in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Films

This is an interesting role. Can't say more without spoilers. On a side note, notice how the trilogy now has four movie installments. When did that happen?


Julianne Moore has just been added to the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2, Lionsgate announced on Friday.

The four-time Oscar nominee will play President Alma Coin, the leader of the rebellion against the Capitol.

The third and fourth installments of The Hunger Games franchise, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and are slated for release on November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015, respectively.
