McDonald's 'McEverything': Man Creates Monster Sandwich From All 43 Varieties (and Survives)

McDonald's currently offers 43 different types of sandwiches and blogger Nick Chipman has tasted every one of them — in one humongous creation he calls the McEverything.

Chipman says he's dreamed of ordering this fast food monster since he first launched his blog, DudeFoods, a few years ago, but he was worried about annoying the employees. "I felt like if I went to into McDonald's and ordered every single sandwich, they would hate me," he tells Yahoo Shine.

But sometimes, like Sir Edmund Hillary, Neil Armstrong, or Geronimo, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

On Monday, Chipman gathered his courage — and his appetite — and marched into the franchise on the corner of 66th Street and North Avenue in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to place his megaorder. He strategically arrived at about 10 a.m., just after the morning rush and well before the noon crowd would come pouring in. Not only would the staff be in a lull, but both breakfast and lunch sandwiches would also be available. No wonder the assault took three years to plan.

I don't do this often. I've done it maybe 1/2 dozen times. Usually after a camping trip where I'm starving coming back in to civilization on the interstate.

But I have to admit I like it.

I order a big mac made out of quarter pounder patties.

Some places make you buy both, some places just make you buy a big mac and pay for "extra meat." They have a button on their cash register for extra meat. Some mcdonalds know exactly what you are talking about before you finish the first sentence, others take a while to figure it out.
