I've saved seed from a few - they certainly smell hot!

Here is an unripe one - clear why they call it scorpion - they have stingers!

His reaction was priceless. Other than hot, the sauce is very fruity. It has apricot preserves, carrot, blueberry, and honey as well.

He just entered them in the Washington State fair, and is waiting for the results. I think he has several medals from past fairs for other peppers he has grown. In any case, he gave me a piece of one, about the size of a match head... holy jeezus, I've never had anything like it... the sting lasted a couple hours, even after I ate a huge hunk of sourdough bread and downed a glass of half & half!
