On a 25 year Treadmill

Talk about running in place! Article points out that regardless of tech advances, medical miracles and other peripheral successes we are still economically where we were 25 years ago. Author comes to conclusion that the middle class needs to be redefined according to statistics. What is even more disturbing is that his figures are based on a $50,000+ yearly salary. Stagnation is never healthy for people or a nation.
