Here's the cat I've been cat-sitting for, I named her "Gray Mouser" after a fantasy character created by Fritz Leiber, I read decades ago.

She's incredibly affectionate to humans, but can't stand other cats. At all.
Update: I forgot to mention, she's the Momma of these 3 kittens, and she can be seen briefly.

Them, and the Elric Saga. These are dying to be made into movies...

(34,136 posts)We had a Gray Mouser once. He was a smokey gray long hair with black tips and light undercoat. He loved riding in cars, watching TV, and sitting on horse back. He was a sweet, affectionate kitty and is still missed, decades after his passing.
Not long after we adopted Mouser, we had a chance to adopt a red point Siamese and planned to name him Fafhrd. Unfortunately, the husband of the woman who was going to give him to us didn't realize he was promised and gave him away to someone else.

(6,336 posts)I had a gray tabby (hence my screen name) for almost 18 years and he was seriously the best cat ever so I'm partial to them.
I can't tell if she's Tabby or calico, but enjoy her.
