(116 posts)It's far harder to take off weight than to put it on but I'm struggling with feeling full after only eating a tiny bit. That's after losing over 50 lbs, so perhaps it is a psychological problem. It took me a lot longer than six months (twice your three) to drop those pounds. You're obviously dedicated and you'll feel better for it. Keep up the good work. And yes, it is harder with age. I was in my forties when I took off the 50 and that was a serious challenge, but I used a mobile bike rather than a stationary. The only real difference is having to climb hills on a mobile. I've got an eliptical now (it was in someone's trash pile, no electronics, but it works for excersize).

(3,065 posts)I gained 45 pounds when I was out of work and have lost about 30 of it in the past year. My goal weight is 155-160 pounds. Still got 15-20 to go. I get plenty of exercise from work. It's my lack of discipline where ice cream is concerned that is slowing me down. But I feel much better now than I did at 207 pounds. I'm only 5'5" and hauling around all that weight was exhausting.
