$100 3D printer, kickstarter project.

He sounds like one bright bulb to be able to re-purpose tech like he did to make something like this a reality (his use of your every day sound card is particularly ingenious). I don't know about how long this would last, it seems like it might be a bit flimsy even after the investment $$ but if it works at all, wow that's quite impressive.
