Post how your life has been traumatized because you saw a nipple or middle finger on TV

Seriously, people are getting all bent out of shape by what M.I.A. did during the halftime show and really, I'm trying to find out who is getting so fricking traumatized by seeing this stuff. I remember nipplegate - I was campaigning for Howard Dean at a bar in Newark, DE and honestly, I could barely see anything (She had a giant piercing on it).

Now the typical fundy groups are getting all bent out of shape because M.I.A. shot a finger.

Really?

Who cares - it gave M.I.A. the obvious attention she wanted. If anything she'll probably sell a few more albums because of it.

But then again maybe I'm not as sensitive so maybe one of you has had your life traumatized because of these events. Please share and by sharing I'll give you a photo of kittens & puppies to help calm your nerves down.

The middle finger salute and "fuck you, asshole" are how the guys say good morning to each other at work- sometimes accompanied by a fart.

By the time CBS cut to an aerial view of the stadium, the damage was done," said Wasserbaum, who has also worked extensively with orphaned and amputee children in Third World war zones. "I've found that children can be amazingly resilient, but this event was too much for many of them to take. The horrible image of that breast is likely to haunt them for the rest of their lives."

According to the 500-page report filed by the FCC, more than 90 percent of the children who saw the exposed breast said they were "confused and afraid."

"Mommy has dirty chest bumps," said a 5-year-old boy quoted in one of the thousands of case studies compiled by the FCC. "She's like the bad lady on TV. I'm afraid Mommy will take off her shirt and scare everyone. I hate Mommy."

He was popular online. Same thing with people like Newt but in RL they can't appeal to those who like 'middle of the road' type candidates.

As far as that gal flipping the bird, I think they must have scrambled the tv signal out here because I didn't see it.
The screen went gray and vertical lines showed up for a second during that song, so I didn't see anything like that.

I didn't watch the infamous "nipple slip" Super Bowl.
Man, was I bummed when I found out what I missed that year!!

It didn't affect me at all. Not one bit. I don't think it would have any affect on me if I saw it in person. And I'll prove it just as soon as they take this restraining order off of me.
