It's my bday...
...my last year as a '40 sumthin'. No, I don't want wishes of a happy birthday. The only thing that will give me a happy birthday* is a BEARS WIN, tonite.
So, in honor of me...I want you all to say a little prayer to the Football Gods. My QB is out for at least 2 more weeks, Briggs is out, we're hurtin' bad. Our chances of winning against the Packers ( 
) are slim, but with your prayers we could do it! (Need to keep McGown from wetting his pants every time their defense gets within 5 yards.)
I need this, guys. Need it bad. One of my favorite people in the world was born/raised/still lives in Milwaukee. She can be a real pain in the ass when the Packers beat the Bears. Did I mention it's my bday? Yeah. Pray for us.
*When I say that, I don't 'really' mean it. It'll be pretty awesome, no matter what. The husband bought me a PS3 for our Anniversary/my bday. He's stopping on the way home to pick up dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant. I have ice cream and apple pie waiting for me at home. The enormous charity job I've been working on is <this> close to being approved for printing. But, hey...a Bears win against the Packjerks, especially in their own home field...would be the freakin' icing on the cake.
