80's remake movies

What 80's movies would you like to see remade?

I'll start: Fletch

Actor preferences: likeness to Chevy Chase, someone in their 30s or 40s (prefer 30s to allow sequels), a butt chin preferable, ability to do comedy including physical comedy.

Possible actors:

Ryan Reynolds
Ashton Kuchter
Joel McHale

just so we can see how bad they fuck it up. They will probably all be sparkling and riding on werewolves instead of motorcycles.

So I'll have to rely on your cinematic expertise on that one. Just how many times have you seen it? One more question. How harry are your palms?

Christian Bale would be a good Richards. Samuel L. Jackson would be a great Killian.

He was an excellent choice for Batman. That version was the best of them all. Very gritty. It's too bad Heath Ledger passed away as he could have been in the third one as The Joker as well.
