I thought Leo was great, and Christoph Waltz totally deserved the Oscar.

The whole cast was awesome.

terrible-- but not in the sense of quality of film, script, acting, etc… it was thought provoking

And I would have enjoyed a thoughtful and deep presentation of that plot.

I felt that this was shallow and too often went to gratuitous nonsense. There were parts that almost felt as if the Carol Burnett team had taken over. Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, etc. Okay, maybe with Eddie Murphy as a guest star.

I went over to read reviews on imdb database. Tarantino fans liked it. Many many others didn't.

If I had read that prior to putting it on my netflix list, I wouldn't have had to sit through it.

maybe the divide is just those who already like Tarantino v. those who don't. Or maybe it's something deeper.

I almost gave up several times and finally, during the DiCaprio shootout, hit 'stop' and 'erase'.

I guess I was glad I watched it, but I'll likely never watch it again. Other movies in this category include No Country for Old Men, The Road, 3:10 to Yuma, and several other movies with a lot of violence that I have seen but cannot remember their titles at the moment.

There are other movies I have seen that would belong in the category of never watching again, but for other reasons, such as they were utter crap.
