Made it out alive (fully charged...)

Out on an early morning snow removal mission from the East Coast storm this morning...

Drove straight through a pair of downed power lines across the road at 35 mph. Didn't even see it coming.

Out on a backcountry road to cut across to my second jobsite for the day and the snow was coming off the fields sideways limiting visibility, however nowhere near what would have dictated a lower rate of travel given the conditions and WHAM!

One across laying on the road and one laying low enough to impact the windshield. There was not an instant to react. Honestly, it may have ended up worse had I reacted differently.

At any rate today's "Holy Sh*! Check your pants" moment was a first in life.

Thankfully everything worked out for the best!

My brother lives in the PA laurel highlands; they had a lot of downed trees. My sister in law had to go four wheeling to get around them on her way home from work last night. It got worse after that and they lost power but thankfully, he has a generator.

So glad you're ok!
