It's always been Hamlet with Jax in the titular role. Tara is his Ophelia, just as Clay was his Claudius...something was going to have to move us towards a denoument for the final season, where Gertrude qua Gemma brings us to a moment borne of ill-fate where Jax/Hamlet is compelled to kill her for her treacheries.
I'd say she just gave him just cause.

(4,544 posts)I sorta expected it, although I wasn't sure where it would come from, how it would happen, but yeah, it was brutal. Did you watch the "Anarchy Afterward" thing with Sutter, Katie and Maggie? They explained it in some sense... but still, it was really ugly.
