1. Was this before or after The American Resolution?

The papers I hated were the ones with bad grammar, bad spelling, and completely incoherent. Some were word salads, and I couldn't get any idea of what the writer was attempting to say.

I adjusted my "grading" mentality to try to ignore the fact that I asked for papers, and just went back to the test scores. Any good paper guaranteed a 1.0 bump in grade.

I realized that I had no justifiable basis for the grades I gave, and it was a great relief to move on to other work. I wasn't cut out to be a teacher. "Graduate Assistant" was a gig to help get though school.

Bless teachers, I don't know how they do it.
